What a terrible loss for his family, friends and the community.
We met Jim and Jane through mutual friends, not long after they moved to Oregon. Jim was a very interesting and humble man.
After selling my business, I worked a bit on the ranch. I met his latest, well loved dog, who, he was training to find truffles. I also saw the contentment he got from working in the vineyard. The time we spent with him was not enough.
Jim is and will be greatly missed.
Love and sympathy to Jane, Jim Jr., Susan and all his family and friends.

I just heard about Jim's passing - he was a great friend and associate at Capital. My thoughts go out to Jane and their son and daughter. It's times like this that make you realize that life is too short and you shouldn't put off seeing old friends until it becomes too late. The world loss a large light, Jane Jammie (I guess I just can't stop calling you your childhood name) and Susan, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Tom

My husband Graham and Jim were great friends and associates at Capital Group. Jim was a very generous and caring person who did much to improve the world where he walked. My deepest sympathy. Carolyn Holloway

I knew Jim from Capital Group and he was always such a fine gentleman. When we visited his ranch outside of Roseburg, we were greeted by the amazing Paint horses he raised. The world lost a wonderful man.

I only knew Jim for a few years, but from the moment I first met him, I knew he was an incredibly good man. The world was a better place with him in it and is now darker without his shining presence. He was a gentle, honest and kind man. I'm saddened to learn of his passing and I can only extend my condolences and sympathy to his family, his friends and the rest of us who will miss him greatly.

My sincere condolences for your loss. May the words of Psalm 145:18,19 comfort you as you endure this difficult time of sorrow.
