I am saddened to hear of Nancy's passing. We just reconnected a few years ago after so many years. Nancy and I grew up together in Rocky Ford and graduated in the class of 1967. Nancy and her family were members of Westside Christian Church where my father was pastor. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. God Bless!!
Joe, I'm so sorry to hear you've lost Nancy. You are in my heart and in my prayers. She was such a vibrant soul and will be missed by so many. God Bless you. Anne
Thoughts and prayers are with you. Nancy was a wonderful person who I met in JR high school. And we met again after my husband started to work with Joe. One of my fondest memories will always be when my little boy asked Nancy if she could be one of his grandmas. She said absolutely!! After that he would ask weekly when Grandma Nancy would come back to our house. He had lots of things to tell her.
We are so sorry for your loss.
Joe Vicki and I offer our sincere condolences and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your Family

Joe, Tonya and family...So sorry for your loss. Nancy was quite a lady..lots of fond memories of her. We all lost somebody special with her leaving....
While attending Con Ball, I always looked forward to seeing Nancy. She was always there to welcome students with a smile. I was fortunate to get to know her better through being friends with Tonya. I loved going to their home because it was a loving and warm place to be. I will keep Nancy's friends and family in my prayers as they go through this difficult time. I am a better person for having known Nancy.
Nancy was and will forever be my school buddy. We met walking home from school the first day of "1st Grade" in Rocky Ford, CO. We went to Liberty Grade School, Jefferson Jr High School and then Rocky Ford High School. She played the clarinet in the band with me and my Husband Harvey Saulmon.
We all graduated moved from Rocky Ford but never lost contact of the special friendship that we will forever have.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Joe, Tonya and Nancy's sisters who will be remembering her "fun" personality as we all celebrate her life.
Dear Joe and Family,
When thinking of Nancy, I will always remember the most vibrant, caring personality. She was always a joy to be around and I was fortunate to work alongside her at Con Ball as well as sharing our bond as police officer's wives. Nancy had the greatest laugh and could always see the bright side of things. She delighted in anything that was good and positive and yet was the first to stand alongside and encourage when tough times occurred. Truly God has gained an amazing angel. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you in the days to come and I hope that your memories will bring you great comfort in the days ahead. She truly was an exceptional lady.

I am so sorry to learn of Nancy's death. We got to know Nancy (and Joe) at Adelita's over a "few" margaritas over the years. She and Pat Shields will be remembered each time we dine at Del's place. To me, she was a bright spot at the end of the day, always warm and friendly with a sincere interest in my family. A very special, beautiful lady.
Nancy was such a dear friend to me and my family. I will always remember the good times when we would laugh until we cried over silly things. I will forever miss her. Rest in peace my friend. Our thoughts and prayers to Joe, Tonya and family. God Bless, Lana & Mark Erickson
Tonya, she was my first memory of a "cool mom"! I will always remember her as a part of my childhood and I think about your relationship when I look at my girls now. Thank you to you both for that!

I have many fond memories of Nancy. She was a “live-wire” filled with electricity and charisma. Working with her at Con Ball was a treat, and I can still hear her wonderful laugh. Her smile and energy radiated her space and brightened all who surrounded her. I also took her aerobics class, where she inspired me and filled me with joy. She truly made a difference in the lives of many students, parents, and educators. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I will hold dear the happiness she brought to my life and the lives of others.
