Hi Dee Dee! I'm so sorry to hear of Patrick's death! I just heard about his passing. Please know how very sorry I am, and that I will be praying for you and Hailey. Love, Deb Durning
While belated, I offer my deepest condolences to the entire Fischer family. Pat was such a good friend to me, especially when we both worked with the INEL. We spent hours solving the problems of the world, laughing, and teasing each other. I especially hold dear the memory of him convincing a coworker to name his dog, “Darcy” because it was such a great dog name. He thought I might be a bit annoyed and looked forward to a little payback joke in return. (It was a gorgeous black lab and the naming thrilled me.) Even though the prank didn't go as planned, Pat just started plotting the next way to goad me a bit. He was one of the most compassionate, big-hearted people I've ever had the honor of knowing. I'm so glad that my life was enriched with his friendship. Heaven has gained a great soul with Pat's admission. I bet Darcy the dog was even there to welcome Pat and tell him how many lives he blessed with his own, and to assure him that he lives on in our memory and in our hearts. Pat, my friend, I'll miss you, but save a place for me to come and reminisce and tell tales large and small.
DeeDee and Hailey so sorry for your loss. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Jim and Melissa Strobl
Patrick, You were one hell of a dad to Hailey.... I will forever love and miss you my dear brother!!!
DeeDee and Hailey I can't express in words how
sorry I am for the loss you suffer. Pat was a
great employee and even greater person. May God be with you Hailey and the family through this loss Candy Jewett
I knew Pat through our time with CEMEX. While I did not know him well, we actually had a couple of very serious conversations about life and career and family and some of his input helped me clarify my own values in regard to these things. RIP, Pat. My condolences to those left behind.
DeeDee and Hailey, my thoughts and prayers are with you. May you find comfort in each other and loving memories. God bless to both of you and his entire family.
Dee Dee and Haley, your in our thoughts and prayers.
To all the Fischer family, Pat's wife and daughter, and his brother Alex (I went through the ISU Geology program and summer field camp with Pat and Alex) - Peace Be With You.
DeeDee and Hailey, our thoughts and prayers are with you today. We are very sorry for your loss.
My deepest condolences to the Fischer family. I knew many of you growing up, but it's been a long time now. Pat Fischer is one of the best friends I have ever had. We were very close friends in junior high, high school, and early college years. Sadly, I haven't seen or talked to him since the mid-1980s. I have a mark on my right hand where he stabbed me with a pencil in Mrs. Ransom's 8th grade English class. So, he certainly left his mark on me, and I will always carry it and my many great memories of him. My favorite Pat Fisher story is from grid kid football. Like many of us, Pat and I loved the football games, but hated football practice, especially the one-on-one tackling drill. Pat and I would arrange it so we always faced off against each other, and we agreed to "go easy." Finally our coach, Coach Newton, caught on. After watching one of these "tackles," he said "You two look like you're out on a date, now knock it off!" The thought of Pat being gone is very, very hard. I have the deepest sympathy for all of his wonderful family and friends.
DeeDee, You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. What a lovely service and reminder about God's Grace.
Pat was one of the "little kids" although, I recognize he was only a couple of years younger than me. My, how the gap narrows. Pat's " happy, go-lucky" demeanor at any family gathering will always hold a special place on my soul. My heart is breaking for my dear Aunt Pauline, Uncle Roddy and my dear cousins, Therese, Kas, Alex, Karen, Carroll, Mike and Chris. I love you all.
Deedee and Hailey, our hearts are crushed over the loss of Pat. Although our paths had diverged over the years, our memories of all of you remain strong. We were unable to attend the memorial service, but will find you soon. We love you.
To the Fischer Family-you are in my heart today. So many fond memories of Pat and family. I know you will see each other through. Be blessed.
Pat was a great cousin, and I always remember his laugh and happy smile. As cousins, our family loved getting together at Grandma and Grandpa Phillipp's house with everyone and playing on the farm. I will always remember Pat with a smile, as he brought happiness to people. To all of the Fischer family, I am so sorry for your loss, and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Mary

So sorry to hear of your loss. Prayers to DeeDee and family.
Pat had a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. I will always remember the summer days at Lake McConaughy with our Hobie Cats. What an unbelievable loss for all that knew Pat.
My condolences to the Fischer Family. I remember Patrick and all the Fischers from Holy Rosary. May he rest in peace in the arms of Christ and may those who mourn him find strength and comfort.
Getting to know and work with Pat was a pleasure. He was a great friend and will be missed.
I met Pat as a coworker 7 years ago and he left us as my friend. He was a man that truly had a heart for others. His compassion came to light in the aftermath of last year's flood. He cared about the people.
His love for Hailey was always there with a gleam in his eyes when he would talk about her.
Our conflicts were usually about less meaningful things - Broncos vs. Seahawks, U of I vs. Idaho State (eventhough he was a Vandal for a semester), etc.
I am missing you my friend.
We are shocked and saddened, to say the least. I've been a friend and coworker (Cyprus Amax, Silver Peak, NV) of Pat's for over 35 years. We started and finished our Geology degrees together as well. My heartfelt condolences go out to DeeDee, Hailey, and the whole family for your loss. Still can't believe this....
When I think of Pat, the first thing I remember is that big smile and the fossil collecltion he kept on his desk. DeeDee I share in your loss amd remember you and Hailey in my thoughts and prayers.
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Pat at Ste Geneveive and he taught me all about the rocks. We spent many a day riding around in the quarry. My sincerest condolences to the family.
