Two years abroad finds me returning to the news of this incredible loss to humanity. Jay, you've always inspired me and I'll miss you immensely. Love and condolences to the Abdo family.
Here it is, one year since you've gone, it feels like yesterday. Bryan and I still miss you terribly. Several times throughout the past year, I was sure I saw you, only to realize it was someone else. May God watch over your precious soul.
I just heard the news and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I knew Jay since jr high school. Played football with Jay and Laus till we graduated. Best time of my life. He busted my chops all through hell week about puking..lol I love you man...God Bless you!

My heart goes out to the Abdo family. I have not connected with Jay in a while, but he seemed very content in his life. I will always have the memories of our junior year homecomings. Yes, two. We went to Clark's homecoming and Bonanza's homecoming. Jay was a class act, funloving and gentle person. Charming and kind. I will cherish the memories of my time with Jay. Prayers of comfort to all who loved Jay.

I didnt know Charles personally, but I do know he left behind some sad people. If any of the family is reading this, i too lost a family member recently and I found a brochure entitled, "When Someone You Love Dies". It is full of information you may find comforting as it did me.

I came to Reno in 1988 to work for K-Reno & Jay was one of the first people I met there. He had a great smile! He was always smiling. I'm so sad to know he's gone. Heaven just got a little brighter. God bless you, Jay. And much love to his son and family.

Jay was my cousin and we moved graduated the same year 1978. As young kids we would spent alot of time together for family events and going to his house with a pool and 6 brother and sisters there was aways lots of fun and plenty to do. Jay was always a great guy and I know he will be missed by his loved ones. My heart goes out to his son and the Abdo Family. I feel your pain of losing and brother and love one. My thoughts and prayers are with Austin and the Abdo family. Seeing Jay's name in the paper today was very shocking, I have known Jay and some of his sisters and brother for a very long time. Jay and I were on the student council at West Charleston Elementary School, there was alot of us that grew up in a great neighborhood, he was my first big crush. He will be missed by many.

I was very saddened to hear of Jay's passing. I will always remember Jay for his wit and for being a good friend. I have many great memories of Jay particularly riding the Flume trail at Tahoe and Jay's passion for riding that trail. My condolences to the Abdo family, my prayers are with you all.
