To the family of Hattie Harrison, My sincere condolences to you all and know that what Jesus did on a small scale, he will, through his Father, do on an even grander one in the future. So cherish the memories of you mom, aunt or loved ones because they will help get you through this trying time,
I have so many fond memories of Delegate Hattie Harrison. She was the mother of all of the kids at Dunbar High School back in the 70's. I can recall the many wonderful days watching her in action as she worked and supported the Dunbar High School community. I watched her through her journel in Annapolis. I recall her love and support of the late Senator Bob Douglass, the late Council President Clarence DuBurns and Delegate Nathaniel McFadden who worked so hard to change the lives of the people of East Baltimore. Farwell Mother Hattie Harrison for you will be truly missed. You have done your job and now it is time for you to rest. You can now rest in peace.
I was saddened upon hearing the news of the passing of State Delegate "Aunt" Hattie Harrison... this lady touched my life at an early age when I served her as a Student Page, by giving the advice about being a public servant, that I still hold dear some 16 years later!!!
"Don't get caught up in the politics and personalities, but remember why you are here and don't lose faith in the process!!!"
Thank you, Aunt Hattie!!! Sleep Well and Take your Rest...
Mrs. Hattie was a wonderful person she will truly be miss in Baltimore she open a way for many Black women in the political world she tough from her heart everyone who knew her love her very much she will be missed. MAY YOUR FAMILY FIND COMFORT DURING THIS TIME of SORROW.
Sorry to hear about the passing of your dear loved one. Our prayers go out to the Harrison family. Cherish her memories. May the God who gives peac be with all of you.-RO.15:33
So sorry to hear of the death of Delegate Harrison and remember her surviving loved ones in my thoughts and prayers. I regret that my life was not touched by her during her influential days on earth, but I will do my utmost to follow her example of helping women to value themselves through my words and deeds. I pray that I approach each person with a kind and mild spirit but at the same time hold them accountable and appreciative for the many rights and freedoms that others worked so dilligently to achieve for minorities and especially women. Jesus must have had Delegate Harrison in mind when he spoke the words at Luke 23:43. With deep respect and heartfelt appreciation, we remember Delegate Harrison today and in the days to come! May her life and many accomplishments not have been in vain.
"Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth."(Matt. 6:9,10) We await that day when this prayer will be fulfilled.
My condolences to the family...I remember Delegate Hattie Harrison from my school days at Paul Laurence Dunbar...she made sure no kid was without anything they needed for school whether it was clothes, shoes, school supplies...If you had a need or needed someone to talk to you could always talk to Mrs. Hattie Harrison...Very seldom you find support in the schools like that anymore...Delegate Hattie Harrison Rest in Peace. And may the works you've done speak for you.
Sending sincere condolences to the Harrison family and friends. May the God of comfort be with you always. (2Cor.1:3)
