Little House on the Prairie was a wonderful family show. Thank you Mr. Bull for Nels Oleson, the guy who always put Mrs. Oleson in her place. I loved those moments. May your find family find peace and comfort in the promises of Jesus Christ.

Good Night Mr. Bull. I still picture you as having to put up with Harriet's antics on The Little House on the Prairie. Loved you in that show. R.I.P.

I grew up in the 1970s and 1980s when many television shows were so much more centered on family, faith, and community. I enjoyed watching LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRiE with my family. While often just a supporting role, the role of Nels Oleson was enjoyable to watch. Often henpecked by his domineering wife, Harriet, Nels often was subjected to her stinging barbs and pettiness. Yet, he never let this cruelty and snobbery diminish who he was as a man and as a father.

I honestly don't think there could have been anyone else who would have portrayed this role with as much dignity and as much dry wit as Richard Bull.

I think his unassuming manner, his integrity, and steadfast loyalty to his family and friends both on- and off-screen are qualities more celebrities should emulate.

My condolences to his widow, friends, and fans. Thank you, Mr. Bull, for the memories. God bles!
