My condolences to the family. I missed his humor, once he became ill. Growing up with his albums and movies gave my friends and I levity in the 70's.

Richard Pryor is the standard by which all comedians are judged period. He will me missed and never forgotten.

When I was young a freind of my father would let me ride from Michigan to Illinois with him to visit relatives. Whenever I was asleep he'd slip in the deck one of those big eight tracks tapes of Richard Pryor. He'd be laughing loud enough to wake me. I'd wake up laughing and he would clumsily fumble around trying to take the tape out. I am laughing now thinking about it some thirty years later. Now I have that same collection and I still laugh as hard everytime I play some Richard Pryor. THANK YOU MR. PRYOR! God Bless your family.
