"Our thoughts go with you, mr Winters, and your family. Your example will be a true inspiration for all good men and women, forever. You, Sir, and your men are the reason we can live in freedom."

I would like to send my condolences to the freinds and family of Maj. Dick Winters a true American hero. My father Thomas C Wildermuth was also a WWII veteran, and was in the some of same areas and at some of the same times that Maj. Winters was at during the war. Though I never had the privilege of meeting Maj. Winters I can only imagine how humble and honorable of a man he was, becauce my father was was a very humble and honorable man. My God bless him and keep him now and forever!

As a fellow Pennsylvanian I am honored to have had Dick in our midst. My dad was a WW11 vet. I served in Vietnam, and am proud of what all of us accomplished for our country.....God Bless him and all who go in harms way for what they believe in....J.L. Dillon St. Charles,Mo.
