For those who serve this great nation of ours, even with faults, this is still the greatest nation on the planet. Many pledge alligence to America, but only a few show it.
God bless our military, their families for the sacrifices they selflessly give.

Robert Gaspar, USMC (1982-85)

It wasn't until I served in Iraq, at age 46, that I fully understood what a tremendous strain that war is on the soul. I am sure that Dick would be proud of the current generation of young soldiers who have carried on the legacy of selfless service. I have the utmost respect and admiration for the fortitude that Dick Winters and all the "Band of Brothers" demonstrated during WWII. They continue to serve as shining examples of what ordinary men can accomplish.

WHEN WE DIE... HOW WILL WE BE REMEMBERED? I WOULD BE HONORED TO BE REMEMBERED AS DICK WINTERS IS REMEMBERED - NOT FOR THE HEROIC ACTS; BUT FOR THE MAN HE WAS AND THE PERSON OF INTERGRITY AND FOR WHAT HE STOOD FOR! IN MY EYES, MORE THAN JUST A WAR HERO. THOMAS ROODT (CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA)

Here is hoping that the young and future generations find and read your story and come to understand the true measure of commitment and sacrifice you and men like you endured for our country and the world. May we never forget.
