Jane--
You have been in my thoughts since I learned of Bill's passing. You were such a wonderful friend, teacher, and a supporter once I left Roanoke for UVA. I always enjoyed seeing you and Bill at basketball games at UHall and missed that immensely when he retired. I had heard you folks move to Carolina and I kept up with Bill's writings in the ACC Sports Journal. My blessing to one who means much to this old Wahoo.

Fondly,
Mike Perfater, Charlottesville

Mrs. Brill,
You made my high school days at Fleming very special. You were the best teacher and mentor anyone could have and it was a great pleasure to know you. I am very saddened about Mr. Brill's passing and want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jane,
What a pleasure to have you as an English teacher and then later work on the same newspaper staff as Bill.
My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Dear Jane,
Please accept my deepest sympathy. I'm sure Mike had a cold one waiting for Bill in heaven. Take care of yourself.

Mrs. Brill, my thoughts are with you at this time. After all of these years, I fondly remember you and your friendship at Salem High School. My deepest sympathy and love, Scotti (Boardwine) Hartman
