My dad, Red Johnson, considered Pug one of his greatest friends. Daddy was one of the original firefighters and in addition spent many Sunday afternoons on the golf course with Pug, Bobby Jennings, and Woody Butt. Pug sat with me when Daddy was in his final days and was a wonderful help to my mom when Daddy was gone. He was a fine person and a wonderful friend. Condolences to all who loved him.

To the Wells family

On Wednesday Morning God made a decision
He placed his hand on Pugs shoulder
And said son it's time to come home.
I have a job in heaven for you to do
because you see we need protection too.
The rookies here need your guidence and patience to help them through.
It will be a honor to have such a
christan man lead these men.
I know he will be watching over you all
driving response 1 in heaven.

Mike and I will miss him forever.

With Love and Prayers
