Not sure what to say?

Rob, as always thinking of you and your family on Memorial Day. I am in San Diego this weekend with my youngest daughter (ten years old) and we drove by the Navy base where we left for our work-ups and deployment with the 15th MEU in 2001. I shared your story with her and showed her the pictures of you from this site. I made sure to highlight the picture of you doing the robot as it still cracks me up. Will continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers as well as in...

Never forgotten. Simper fi buddy!

Thinking about you today and everyday Rob! Until we me meet again broski...Semper Fi brother!

A very special man and Marine. I haven't forgotten, Rob. I'll always remember. Semper - Vic

Rob-As always, thinking of you this weekend. The picture of you doing the robot in about 40 pounds of body armor continues to make me smile as it reminds of your great, yet subtle sense of humor. Will always keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Best, Patrick

Rob, as always, you are in my thoughts this day. My family and I spoke about you at dinner this evening and included you in our prayers. As I have shared on this page before, I fondly remember spending time with you on the Peleliu and enjoying your subtle humor. So good to have gotten to know you. Patrick

Good Morning, I tell your story over and over to my classes as a Instructor for new Marines. How we as service members will be better because Men better then us have come before and set the highest examples. Thank you Sir!

On this day especially, I keep Robert in my thoughts and prayers. I scrolled through more of the comments below and found the link to the video that Paula put together to memorialize both Robert and all those that have lost their lives in service to our country. Paula--Thank you for putting the video together and sharing.

Hello,

We apologize for being so late in expressing our deepest condolences to you and your family. We want you to know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this holiday season and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo, service branch, rank and hometown of Robert Michael Secher US Marine Captain.

We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want...
