As my own son completes his Marine training I am humbled by the honor and grace of this young man.
May we all find strength and honor in ourselves as a reflection of his life and sacrifice. My prayers are with you.

Thank you for sharing your story. My condolences go out to your family. You should be proud of the fine man you raised and I can't even imagine the loss you must be feeling. I have a son in the military who at this time is in a safe environment, but I fear that someday your story will be mine. God bless.

No bond is greater than that between a parent and child. May God grant you the peace that comes with knowing that your son went above and beyond his duty to his country and fellow countrymen. You raised your son with the values that got him through the rough days and nights and instipe of all that he endured he still was proud to fight for his country and the freedoms we take so for granted. God Bless you and give you peace and honor for the life your son gave for us.
