Reading your sons emails is inspiring and makes me proud to have served our country. I was a platoon Sergeant in Iraq fighting in Sadr City. Knowing there was men like him on the battlefield with me reassured me I had a better chance of surviving the endless battle in Iraq. thank you for the opportunity to read these letters. Sincerely, SGT Salvatore Anselmo, US Army (RET)

Dear Secher family,
I never met your son, but as I read his e-mails and the posting on this guest book I was humbled. You raised a wonderful son and I wish I had been able to serve with him. I've served with 5 different Marine battalsions as a Navy Chaplain and it has been my greatest honor to serve with Marines, especially men like your son. May the Lord comfort you in this time of loss. I will remember you in my prayers.
Fr Steve Dundas, LCDR CHC USN
