A great man, a great voice and a great smile silenced here, forever, on earth but being heard and seen in the kingdom of heaven, on this, your first Christmas with your Lord.

He was a delight to watch. He was an actor who really seemed to get the role perfectly no matter the character.
His range was enormous.

"We pray in our time. God answers ... in His." Mr. Prosky's role as Fr. Cavanaugh in "Rudy" will be with me forever. Blessed be his name.

In my opinion, Michael Mann's Thief is one of the greatest movies of all time. That movie was carried by the performances of James Caan and Robert Prosky. The ability of those actors to portray opposing personalities so strong they crushed anything in their path created a classic thriller. What a blessing to Mr. Prosky that he was given this film in which to display his talent. What a blessing to us that he left us this film to enjoy.

From far away Australia a tribute to Robert Prosky. I remember him from "Hill Street Blues" and numerous movies. Sympathy to all his family
