I had the privilege of working with his wife, Annette, when she was Mayor of Dallas. This involved the first "Dallas together" project that resulted in the single member districts in the city. Also I wrote speeches for her very bright mind. the best was her graduation address at Penn State. They sill talk about it. We do need Robert S. Strauss to help design a new political system. He is able to work across the entire political spectrum.

I thought Vernon Jordan's speech was a master piece.

My sincere sympathy to the family for the loss of your dear loved one. May you find peace and comfort in Psalms 65:2. Again my deepest sympathy.
