Jeraldine Brigman Edwards
LUMBERTON — Mrs. Jeraldine Brigman (Grimsley) Edwards, 73, passed away July 23, 2015, at Golden Living Center in Lumberton.
She was born in Robeson County on Oct. 3, 1941, to the late Henry and Nina Jackson Brigman.
She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Ulis Grimsley, and her twin sister, Jacqueline Bailey.
She is survived by her husband, Selwyn C. Edwards of the home; two sons, Gunger Henry Grimsley of Lumberton and Ulis Keith Grimsley of Orrum; two daughters, Rose Marie Farley (Robert) of Youngsville, and Lisa Carol Grimsley of Lumberton; a brother, Dickey Brigman of Lumberton; six sisters, Nancy Bass of Easley, S.C., Frances Long of Johnson City, Tenn., Vicki Graham of Garner, Doris Givens of Virginia Beach, Va., Marsha Grimsley of Lumberton, and Judy Hardee of Lumberton; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends though the weekend at the home of Lisa Grimsley.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Lumberton with Early Locklear and Michael Hammonds officiating.
