Our deepest sympathy to the entire family. Moose was a true gentleman who we were proud to know.

AS a child, I remember Moose visiting my Dad's Chevrolet dealership in Camden, NY in the fall when the new models were introduced to the public. I will be 60 this fall, and I still have a picture of Moose with my First Grade Class. He certainly left a lifelong impression with those that he met. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Moose was a baseball legend in the Cragin Park area where he grew up and througout the baseball world. More importantly, he was a kind man who made everyone he met feel welcome. God bless him and his family.

Bill visited many schools in the 1980's to talk about bicycle safety to the children. I introduced this truly caring man to the kids and saw how he held their attention. I'm sure he saved a few lives by his presentations. God Bless you Bill for your concern for others. Retired Police Lt. Harry Blesy

To the family, all are saddened by your loss. The joy he brought to all lovers of the game is endless. He certainly made my youth better by his style, class and being. R.I.P. Moose!

RIP Moose. Remember first time I met you at SoxFest 2009. Always had good stories to tell...coming from someone who was nineteen at the time.

One of my favorite Yankees, sadly, is now with his team mates. Please accept my deep condolences. Bill's great character was evident on and off the field. He will be missed.
