This man was always there for me as a child. He was very special to a lot of people but make no mistake, he would always say "tell it like it is" and he did most times. He made me a strong person in life and made me a very important part of his life for 45 years. He was at most every event that was important to me and cheered me on during sporting events even though he knew very little about sports. He took me all over the country on vacations, followed me around to every state we lived in over the years. He taught me how to live and be fair, honest and caring to people. He is a big reason I am successful today and will live on in me and my wife and son. He was the man, the myth, the teacher, the one who kept me grounded, the one who encouraged me to take chances in life and never stop trying to live and to do better things in life. He always told me if you can't pay for something you want you don't really need it that bad!

His favorite saying was "Live and learn, die and forget it all."

I will follow this rule as we move forward from losing this very special man...

See you soon man!
