Dear Truesdale Family,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. While this most recent part of the journey must have been so difficult, I pray that you can reflect on the happiest of moments and find comfort. Mr. Truesdale was very dedicated and enthusiastic about the school and the possibilities available to each of us through education. I have barely a memory of Durand Junior/Senior High School without the image of “Uncle Milty” in my mind's eye! (I always loved that curl!)

Mr. Truesdale lives on with each life that he influenced in his roles as parent, grandparent, husband, teacher, coach, and councilor!

Sincerely,
Renae Boehlefeld

Dear Truesdale Family:
I had the good fortune of being closely tied to your family as I babysat all three children from the minute of your birth (and all survived!). I had "Mr Truesdale for a 6th grade teacher and a HS biology teacher. He was way ahead of his time re: bio and he was the reason I did so well in college with the sciences. He was so proud of his family and I am proud to be a part of it too. Mom and I have kept up over the years and hopefully now everyone will have peace and rest. Blessings to all of you!

I am so sorry to hear of Milt's passing. I taught school in Durand when Milt was the guidance counselor. It was my first "real" teaching job and Milt welcomed me and helped me with so many things. He always had my back. He was a great guy with a big heart! So sorry for your loss. Jodi (Poliska) Kast

My deepest sympathy to the Truesdale family. I had Mr. Truesdale for my 6th grade teacher and then again in high school for science. I remember in 6th grade making candles. The wax caught on fire and Mr. Truesdale picked up the can and threw it out the window. He was so concerned for our safety and automatically reacted without thinking about how he would be burned and the pain he would have. He was a wonderful science teacher and really knew his subject matter. May God comfort you during this time of sorrow and be with you in the days ahead.
