The entire Longhorn Nation shares in the Royal family's grief. We have lost an special and irreplaceable symbol of the integrety that UT stands for. It was my very great pleasure to have met Coach Royal in Fort Worth in the late 1990's, and it is an experience that I will always treasure. He stood for honesty, accomplishment, and great pride in all endeavors. I am proud to be a UT graduate, and even prouder to have been there while Coach Darrell Royal was a driving force in the success and glory of the school. HOOK 'EM, HORNS!!!!
