I came of age with respect to football when Coach Royal arrived. In the 55 years that I've followed the Longhorns, I can truly say that the Royal years were, without question, the best years of my life! He was a hellava coach and an even greater man. His legacy will live on forever in the hearts of generations to come. Rest in peace, Coach. Hook 'em!
