Rex hired Jimmy Cal, accordion player, and me, guitarist, for his first series on "BoomTown". Rex was a great boss, but more of a friend. Met w/him at the MCMAA show,on 9-29-2008, and we had a great time reminiscing. I will always remember him!

It was a great show to watch every weekend. They don't make shows or men like Rex Trailer anymore.

To the family of Rex Trailer,
As a child growing up in the late 50's and early 60's Rex Trailer was a huge part of my growing up. Every Saturday morning I rode my rocking horse right along side him from my living room. I saw Rex a few times as a child at special events but about a year ago I had the good fortune to see him at a personal appearance. He held my hand and sang Boom Town to me, he was as sweet as any one I have ever met. I am glad I got to tell him how much he ment to me. Thank you for sharing him with all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

Rex Trailer was part of my childhood...will never forget him! To this day, when I think of the 60's, being a young girl, I smile to myself and hum the Boomtown theme song.

Growing up in Massachusetts, every Saturday morning found me eagerly sitting in front of the TV waiting for Boomtown. I loved Rex and Goldrush, and spent hours with my jumprope trying to learn to lasso stuff. Rex provided hours of happiness and entertainment; I hope he knew how much he meant to all of us kids. God bless you Rex; may you rest easy and may the trail be good to you!
