You have touched the hearts of so many. We will miss you Woody!!!
September 11, 2007
My heart goes out to you for your loss on two fronts. First my son just finished his second tour of fifteen months this past week. I know the fear that I lived with for the nealy two and half years of the last four that I might have to endor the pain and heart break you are now forced to suffer through. We almost lost our son in his first deployment and I feared the news the rest of his time there and then also his second time there. So as the parent of an Infantry Soldier my heart weeps for you. Also as a former Airborne, Air Cavalry, Recon Scout, of the 17th Air Cav, 82nd Airborne I want you to know your son is part of very special brotherhood that few have the honor to be a part of. The Airborne are volunteers of the highest degree and honor. You will find yourself embraced with Love, Dignity and Honor by a very special family. May God make his face shine upon you and grant you his peace and comfort, Amen. Airborne, All the Way

Please accept my Deepest and most heartfelt sympathy regarding the loss of Cpl. Ryan A. Woodward. The price this Brave Young Soldier and his family have paid for this country and for freedom, Will Never Be Forgotten.
There is so much thanks to be given, to these young heroes, for their Courage, Dedication and Service.

May Ryan rest safely in God's Care and may God's Loving Grace Bless the Woodward family.
I am the sister of such a young hero, who made the Ultimate Sacrifice in Vietnam, many years ago.

"Wait on the Lord, be of good courage
and He shall strengthen your heart"
~ Psalm 27:14 ~

May the Peace of God and the treasured memories of Ryan, remain in your heart always. May this give you comfort and strength through the difficult days ahead.
You are in my thoughts and my prayers.
