Dean McKinney Obituary

1960 - 2012
Dean "DINO" McKinney
When Irish eyes are smiling, keep me in your memory,
Hunting, fishing or riding my bike, is where I'll always be.
When Irish eyes are smiling, please don't shed a tear,
If you listen close enough, I am laughing and drinking a beer.
Dean wanted No biography. He felt that if people didn't know him while he was alive then why get to know him after he died. He did life on his own terms. He loved to laugh at himself as well as others.
He leaves behind his Mom, sister Maureen, brothers Gavin, Craig and many nieces and nephews. In addition, he leaves behind the other half of his heart, his best friend, companion and partner in crime Terri Lyons.
Dean and Terri send much love and a special thank you to Roy "Eddie" Campbell and family, to Dave Leonard and family for their constant presence and support. You stood by us through everything, a constant reminder of true friendship and love and we thank you dearly.
No funeral service or life celebration is planned, due to all of those, not seen in years calling the house asking for his personal possessions; it is our contention that all you buzzards can fly lazy circles elsewhere. As for everyone else he'll see you on the other side..

Who knew your arms could feel someone long after they were gone, who knew you could be paralyzed just by hearing their song, not one day easier has gotten since we were torn apart and I will never understand how it's possible to live with half a heart! I miss you forever and a day....

RIP LOVE....

Meet me beloved
In the ether
Beyond time
Beyond space
Where souls can dance free
Beyond the ravages of age
Beyond the rages of youth

In this here and now
We remain trapped apart
Our paths diverged
Too strong was the current
The fragile bridge of love
Could not withstand
This here
This now

Meet me beloved
In the ether
Where we can forge a different plan
For next time
Where our bodies can dance together
As well as our souls

Meet me beloved
In the ether
I will be waiting........

Well, It's hard to sit here and write these words without tear's (so I'll just let them roll on down my cheeks) because it's hard to lose a best friend, a brother. I've known Dino since our early teen's and I know him like the back of my hand. Me and Tina will miss him very much. I only wish we could have had more time together. Thank you Terri for the kind words. You brought Dino to life. I don't believe I've seen him so happy as with you. I'm glad he got to spend the last of his day's with you. We'll see you soon Dino. Love Eddie and Tina.

I was not blessed to have the opportunity to meet you in person only via the phone but know you loved my bestfriend very much. I would listen to your antics together over the phone and I knew Terri was very happy. You are missed so much by so many. We will ride together one day when we all meet up on that long road in the sky.
