It saddened me to hear about the loss of Mr. Don Bailey. I respected him very much. He was always kind to me. I admired his values regarding his loved ones. He will be missed. His integrity was rare. I pray that his family his comforted always.

How Don propelled our spirits as we wrote the anthology, Our Black Fathers: Brave, Bold & Beautiful! He was one amazing father, friend, husband, & extraordinary human being. Don was the true definition of the title of our book. He beamed at the sight of his father (who would be 100 this year) on the cover. Don was profoundly touched when relaying the inspiring story of he and his dad. What an impactful legacy Don leaves. We will miss him dearly, but know that in spirit, he is still co-piloting us on this journey to spread the legacies of black men. With more than a hint of urgency in his voice and a genuine passion in his eyes, he told us to "Push now. Time is of the essence!" He even helped to get the word out about our strong, formidable black patriarchs and did all he could to ensure people knew about the book, but more critically, about the men it represented -- men who should never be forgotten. We love You, Don for your global contribution in making the planet a better place! Blessings to your beautiful family. May solace and God's grace embolden each of them. And in moments of sorrow fill their hearts to the brim knowing that they have an awesome guardian angel in their midst. He will live on forever in your hearts, and eternally through his words on the pages of Our Black Fathers: Brave, Bold and Beautiful! So grateful he gave so unselfishly and with such dignity and humility to this cause called humanity. Peace and Blessings, Joslyn & Anita

I never met cousin Don in person. However, we formed a brotherly bond over a period of about 15 years as we were in touch via electronic communications and by phone. We shared a common love of our great family and we had hoped to collaborate on a video project which would allow us to share videos of family activities which were
recorded over several years. I am deeply saddened by the passing of
our beloved cousin Don, yet I rejoice that his positive energy will join
with the spiritual energy of the Ancestors. And I believe that this
ancestral energy will continue to be a blessing to our family. MUCH LOVE
Cousin Bill Malloy

I cannot begin to tell you how deeply sad I am to have lost this giant of a man. Don Bailey touched my life in so many ways. I alsways marveled at the deep love and affection he had for his beloved Yvonne and and his beautiful daughters. How his chest would puff up whenever he talked about his fantastic grandson.

Don will be missed by us all and there will never been anyone with this much class to walk the face of the earth.
