How great a man My Borgnine was,my exwife had the pleasure of flying next to Mr Borgnine one flight and said he was the Gentleman as you would think he would be. It was and still is her best flight ever. I am a huge McHales Navy fan and just a fan of his work. Thanks for the 'great memories I still watch McHales Navy whenever I can.

I will miss him greatly. My Dad had a lot of the same characteristics as Earnest. My Dad joined in World War 2. He had the Italian blood the same smile. My Dad died June 9th 2013. I hope as I get older I can smile the way these men did. We are from Detroit and My Grandfather changed our Last name. It was Marchi. I thought your Dad was awesome.
