I don't know who I'd be today without my Grandma Kiehn. She was very much like a mom to me, providing not only love, support and advocacy but also a much needed sense of order and safety. I will always be inspired by her courage, strength and independence. I am so grateful for all of our time together throughout my life, including our last sweet visits in which we sang "Too Marvelous for Words" and exchanged "I love you"s and "You're so gorgeous"es. As much as I miss her, I feel very grateful that her last years were spent in excellent care, without worries -- and that her exit was painless and peaceful.

Aunt Florence was my feisty Aunt on the west coast. She was also funny, vibrant and ready with funny stories about my Dad and family. She loved to go to SF and shop for sourdough bread when she was there. It was comforting that she was close by when I lived on the west coast. May her memory be a blessing. Gail Greenstein

will love this lady, always. For the love she gave my father in law, Gerd, and for the unconditional love and pride she had in her grandaughters. A classy lady that is now in heaven with the love of her life.

My sister Florence was a very special person, a beautiful mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she will be remembered forever. She shared a happy life with Gerd and they are now together again.

I loved her very much.

As Florence's YOUNGER brother, I most remember her facing situations that were so difficult. Her life was full, evidenced by her grandaughters and daughter. She was loved, faced some difficulties that we can only imagine, never experience, I hope. Her tribute to us is the wonderful grandaughters and daughter. I always said I was her BABY BROTHER. God blessed her with strength, beauty and ability as well as her grandaughters and daughter.

I remember cousin Florence as a very cheerful, popular teenager in New York City and Long Beach, New York where everyone liked her and she had many friends. I will always remember her with love.
