Sep 21 - Frances Archuleta – Jan 19, 2013
Frances taught me about true friendship, she showed me what it means to stand by someone when the waters are rough, no matter how high the tidal wave, for her precious words, “it's OK, it will pass”.
Frances always did everything with Love behind her reasoning: If it was telling you, “meet me around the corner, at Crocker Park”, or “get the hell out of here”, “Hey Baby que paso?”, it was just her way of letting you know what she felt. Frances first love was her family, she carried everyone's pain in her heart, Frances was true and real and said what she had to say whether you wanted to hear it or not. When I think about Frances, I see the Circle of Love, when we were out she always invited strangers in her circle of love to dance, her circle of love was in her heart and in her home.
Now she has no more pain to carry, no more rods, always remember her saying “No lloyres -No Mas Acuerdate”, she can sing and dance and play her air guitar. For anyone closest to Frances will always remember the 21st of September.

Sometimes we think we are invincible and indestructible and when I was growing up I thought of my Tia frances, depended on nobody but herself and her son "G" and it was them against the world and no one could break that bond. She taught me life doesnt have no breaks, and never depend on no one (especially a man) but yourself and if I wanted it, I had to do it for myself, and she was a mirror example of that. She always called me her Marie Osmond, and she told everyone that at her work, and I could never see that. But she could was always a good judge of hearts, whether or not you like or not. She said I'm not afraid to to tell you the truth she always started it like that. She always said I'm your Tia and I love you. She was a big influence in my life. Love her for everything my thia "no yadis nomas quvatas". And as her family grew with "G" and Maryanne her life was complete. She always helped everyone that needed it especially with uncle Alfred and Chino. Her grandkids were her pride and joy and she loved Chino. PS forever and a day we will always be dancing with my Tia frances

When I opened the paper on Sunday and saw the name Frances Archuleta I was in shock. While it's been many years since we have seen each other I think often of the good times we had together both at work at the CYA personnel office and at my house on a Friday nite. I will never forget her loving and kind spirit. She brought me a siamese kitten to replace one I lost a demonstration of how she cared and wanted those around her to be happy. She lives on in our hearts. My thoughts are with her family at this time... bless you all.

When I read all of the sentiments here I notice that all the right adjectives to describe Frances are being used. Frances was indeed a very loving and endearing person. Even thou we went on with or separate lives I do remember her for the fun and at times crazy person that she was. And oh yes she did love music and loved to dance to it. With a smile on her face and with a warm heart is the way that I will remember Frances. Because she was the person she was, all her family members should remember that Frances left a little of herself in all of them and left a lot of fond memories in all of her friends, me being one of them. May she rest in peace and may the sorrow and pain of her son and family be comforted by the Hand of God.
