With fond rememberance; a true reflection of a Native American woman's kindness shared with me during a time when I needed strength and support.
May God's pure white light shine upon you and yours.

Billie was one of the first Sacramento area Indians I met when I moved here. She was always very welcoming and helped make me feel at home. Billie wil be lovingly remembered forever by those of us who had the opportunity to get to know her. She gave so willing to everyone and was so committed to the health and well-being of American Indians. Her service on the UC Davis American Indian Advisory Council allowed us to develop and deliver the Mother's Wisdom Breast Health Program to tribes throughout Northern California and beyond in an effort to increase mammography screening and save the lives of American Indian women. We love you, Billie Blue.
