God Bless you Dale in your new journey.
Saddened to hear of Dales passing, thoughts are with all the family.
I worked with Dale for many years. I am so sorry, I just found out about his passing. My deepest condolences.
This is Paula & Marla Koss's sister, Pam. Paula was a friend of Dale's sister, Kim. All three of us girls had on occasion, ended up at the Isaacson's house, treated like one of the family. I loved that house, everyone there was so full of life. Dale was a sweetheart but also a rough and tumble kid on the playground at school. We played Dinosaurs at recess in the mounds of dirt with little plastic figures, and on the monkey bars as well. Bless the Isaacson Family for their loss of Dale, as I am sure he is greatly missed.
My deepest condolences to all Dale's loved ones for their loss and his untimely death.
I knew Dale as a child (we attended the same Sunday School class at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church from the age of 4 or 5, plus grammar school / junior high), and I happened on this sad news by (online) coincidence. I remember him as a boy with an impish streak worthy of a Mark Twain character who nonetheless knew his manners and shared in common a sweetness of personality deeply-rooted in the Isaacson family.
It's no surprise to read what a splendid man he grew up to be, and how beloved he is, by so many.
I worked with Dale at the VSP Lab. He was a wonderful man who communicated his intense love for his wife and daughters almost daily. I enjoyed his company and knew he had the joy of a loving family at home. I particularly enjoyed his animation. He always made me laugh. I am so sorry for your loss. I had a lot of respect for your Dad and husband.
Daleagala (my nickname for him over 20+ years ago), I miss you every minute of everyday. My sister, as well as our families, were so fortunate to have you in our lives. Thank you for loving and caring for my mom all of these years, treating her like a princess. Thank you for teaching me to drive in your little red pick up truck. Thank you for keeping me in line...as much as you could. Thank you for the endless, delicious meals that were always cooked to perfection (steaks were made to be Stephy-approved). Thank you for being a wonderful grandfather to my kiddos. They love you and will cherish you always, as I will. I will miss sitting next to you at the head of the table at holidays talking quietly and sharing inside jokes. I will miss your humor that was always right on cue. I will miss your hugs and your smile. Plain and simple, I will miss you, Daleagala.
I went to your place of rest today and started to cry. I then felt your hand on my shoulder, the lightest touch but it was there and I was comforted by that. I knew then, we would be alright. I know you would want it that way. You were gone way to soon but I am glad to say I had you in my life, in all of our lives.
You and I will meet again
When we're least expecting it
One day in some far off place
I will recognize your face
I won't say goodbye my friend
For you and I will meet again
Gone but never, ever forgotten
I am so very sorry to hear of Dale's passing. Praying for you and your family.
