Praying that God gives the family peace & comfort during their time of loss. I had the pleasure of meeting her at the 50th class reunion & I could see why she was so loved. A time I will keep close to my heart. I will cherish the cards & letters she had sent me. My mom Lois Fraley Young still has the pic I took of them in front of the motel. I know that God will heal the brokenhearted. He will be opening the gates of heaven with a grateful heart.

My deepest sympathy to Deanna's family. The Liparis were neighbors and friends growing up in Ameagle. Jenny, Joan, Deanna and I went to church and school together and were friends. I was so sorry to hear of her death. She was such a pretty girl and was still pretty when I saw her at the last reunion she attended. I pray the time will soon come when you can enjoy your precious memories of her without suffering the pain of your loss. Carol Williams Kennedy, Laurens, South Carolina

Mrs. Bertoldi was always so kind to me. Anthony and us friends were at the house quite often. I had many dinners she cooked and enjoyed them with the whole family. She let us practice with our band in the garage. I'm sure that was loud and a bit irritating for her. I remember the lime kool-aid and balonga sandwiches she made us for lunch. She was very kind and motherly. As I was a young boy at the time, having adults in addition to my parents that were caring and kind helped me along my way. I remember the last time I saw her was at high school graduation. She commented on how much we - Anthony and friends - had all grown. She, and all of our parents from those days, were part of our upbringing. May the good Lord bless her and her family. I hope that Mr. Bertoldi, Chris, Anthony and Alicia may find peace in their time of sorrow.

Gil -- I am so sorry to hear about your wife. I never knew her, but I just remember all the "good" times we had going to Fresno (108 degrees every day), Merced, and everybody's favorite: Lodi. (CCR, "Stuck in Lodi Again"). I hope your family will be a great comfort to you. My best wishes to you and your family, Rich Haavisto
