I will miss you Pap Pap as your first granddaughter I shared many days and years with you. May you rest In peace. I love you. Elizabeth
Jimmy my brother in law, a very kind and generous man to my mum (his mother in law), and to everyone he met. Jimmy bought us our 1st television around 1956! He also looked after me when I was a child, living in Connahs Quay with him and our Betty while mum was poorly for a while. He will never be forgotten and will be fondly remembered by all his family in England. Thinking of all the family, love Archie, Beryl and all the Peach family xxx
Jim was such a dear man! Though not related by blood Jim (and Betty) were family . Dear friends with our parents Don and Betty , we had many adventures together, attended many weddings and welcomed many babies into the world! One of Jim's favorite stories to tell was our adventure in Tahoe when a strong storm hit and after 8 long hours on the road ( they refused to turn back) they finally reached Tahoe! What a night that was!
You will be missed my friend but I know one thing for sure....there is one heck of a reunion going on in heaven!!
Jim and Betty have been friends of our family since the '60's, when Betty worked with my mother, also Betty (Jim called them his "two Betty's"), at the Mather Child Care Center. We spent many happy weekends in Tahoe with Jim and Betty over the years. He was a wonderful man and the world is poorer without him. Our thoughts and prayers are with Betty and family.
So sorry for your loss. Jim has a special place in my heart - I will always be thankful for him watching out for my Mom when she lived next door. He was a very kind, gentle, caring man.
Dear Mr Berwick you will be missed dearly. You were always so sweet and I feel blessed meeting you. Thank you for being a part of my life. Teaching everyone that there is true love and to never stop loving.. We will take care of Mrs Berwick for you like you would have wanted..
God will definitely show you the way to smiling again. I know this experience will change you forever. Just remember all the good times you, shared with your father and all the love he gave you throughout the years. He is not gone. He will live in your heart forever,
So sorry for your loss Jim and family. Please let me know if you need any help with anything now and later as the days go by. May our Father in Heaven give you peace at this time and know that you are in my and many other people's thoughts. Jeanette Maland-Young
Mr. Berwick was a caring, loving man who touched my heart. He loved telling the story of how he met his beautiful wife, Betty, and her family in England. I was with him the last time he watched his grandson, Joshua Berwick, play baseball and saw the pride on his face. Jim was even at the game last year when Joshua's team won the championship in which his son James coached. James announced to the whole team and parents that he learned everything about coaching and baseball from his Dad. A moment I will never forget. We love you PapPap. May you spread your wings over us while you're with the angels.
I pray you find comfort in Jesus during this time of sorrow.
Jim was a great man, I enjoyed all his wonderful stories and his witty sense of humor he will always be in my heart and I am so grateful I had the chance to meet such a great loving man!
