An icon in Sacramento's aviation community and beyond. A mentor and outstanding example of class and dignity to myself and I'm sure many others. We all have people in our lives who influence who we become, John was one of those people for me. Blessed to have known him for so long, blessed for the rest of my days by his profound example. God's comfort and Peace to those close and feeling his loss.
John, you will be deeply missed by countless grateful people; folks whom you have helped in so many ways and folks that just plain knew you and loved you, especially those of the Sacramento Sheriff's Air Squadron, who have shared many great times with you.
You will be remembered forever for your kindness, selflessness and that ever-present welcoming smile.
To all family and friends of John Didier, we send our condolences. Blessings to you all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

John, You were an inspiration for me. I'll miss your wonderful, gentle energy.
John was a caring and giving man. We valued his friendship and will miss him dearly. Our flight to Sun River is a memory we will cherish forever. He encouraged me to fly and gave me confidence in my abilities as a pilot. We are grateful to have known him and keep his family in our prayers.

Uncle John always had a smile on his face when seeing us, and a twinkle in his eye. A quiet, humble and generous man with much love for his family, friends and the things dear to his heart. We will always have love for you and hold our memories of times together as wonderful gifts.

We have known John for the 20 plus years that we have been at Executive Airport. He has always been supportive of our business and helped send customers our way. We had hoped that he was going to beat his cancer. Unfortunately, it was not to be. He will always be remembered as a great friend. Ron and Carolyn Hitchcock, Executive AutoPilots, Inc.
To the Didier family. I met John while working at Patterson Aircraft and continued to know him while working at Cessna Aircraft. I was lucky enough to know John personally as well as professionally. John was always a very gracious man and a man of his word. My wife has always said that John was one of the last of the true gentleman. We will miss him here on earth but I believe that we will meet again in the future.
