Uncle Mike never did anything but make me laugh. Im dissapointed I didnt get more time with him. Hes lucky my parents didnt kill him for buying me and those dolls that talked =)We replayed them over and over.
I love you and I know your laughing at every silly thing I say or do from up there.
Love niece Ashley
My thoughts go out to the family. What a great guy he was.
I didn't know Uncle Mike well, but when I was a child he would sometimes hitchhike and stay at our house while passing through. I remember his smile and goofy sense of humor, and how he often made me laugh. One time in particular when he was getting ready to leave, I recall asking him how he was sure someone would give him a ride while hitchhiking. He just smiled and said, "because I shined my shoes and nobody ever passes up a man who shines his shoes." Uncle Mike, I hope you are soaring with the angels right now. Rest in peace.
I was blessed to have met Mike when I was in my teens. That meeting left a lasting impression on me, as it did most who met him. Mike was goofy, funny, and free to just be. As an adult I aspire to be goofy, funny, and free to just be. Mike was blessed to have felt the unconditional love from from family Tammy, Christie, and beloved brother Dewy..... Oh and Mike goofy is fun.
Thank you for lighting the way for me to believe in myself. I will always love you!
I will be sure to teach my children about Pine Floats. Love you.
Uncle Mike was one of a kind :). He loved to tease and play inocent jokes, like talking someone into getting a;Pine Float which was a tooth pick in water. I can't remember Uncle Mike ever saying anything hurtful to me and was always encouraging me to follow my dreams. I will miss him greatly and will remember him always. I love you Uncle; please give my mom a hug for me. Your niece, Tammmy
