I still miss this man very much. I think of him with delight because we really enjoyed some interesting conversations every year when we were in to take care of our taxes. We had some really good laughs.
Not only did he have a wonderful sense of humor he was a wise man when it came to finances.
I know if I still miss him his family must REALLY still miss him.
God bless you all,
We are saddened to hear of the loss of Peter Grush. I have known him as a small child as he prepared my father's taxes etc. As I grew he prepared my taxes and then I married and he prepared our taxes. Our family grew and he assisted me through the death of my father tremendously and I will never forget it. He was as his name means: a "rock". Blessings to you the family of Peter Grush. He will be greatly missed not only for the assistance he gave but his cheerful heart attitude and genuine soul.
Pete, we were searching for you to do our taxes, as you did for the last 20 years for us, you will be missed. Your words of wisdom is what we looked forward to each year well doing our taxes.... we were blessed to have you. I can see you do bookeeping with God right now.
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Mr Grush's passing. He was one of the finest people I've ever met. Always pleasant & so genuinely nice. I can see by the other comments that I'm not alone in my observations.
Sincerely, Ida Anderson
Pete, we had no idea you had left us until we called to see if you would be back to do taxes this year! We will miss you, and are so sorry you and Vicki had to leave us way too soon!

Pete taught me a lot about taxes & life. He was a very giving person & will be missed immensely! Sleep well my friend
We will miss him and all the fun we had with him when he was with our dear friend Claire.
A genuinely nice man. It was always great to stop by and share with Pete. As with everyone else, I will miss him. It was a joy to know him. May God have mercy on his soul.
We will miss Peter's smiling face over cards he played with many of us. And of course trying to keep him playing while discussing his favorite subjects of the week. The "Girls" will miss you Peter.....
I was very sad to see Pete's obituary. We started high school in the same class at Enterprise High School in Redding, CA. Pete had a quick wit, a personality and face you don't forget. Over 30 years later, when I was working at Cal West Electric in West Sacramento, that same guy sat down at a staff meeting and introduced himself as the new guy, Peter Grush. I said "I know you". He was a good friend to me during the time I worked there. He and his wife, Vicki, attended a couple high school reunions in Redding. We will all miss him.
We were very sad to pick up the paper today and see that our wonderful CPA man -- our Libertarian -- has passed away. What a loss to those of us who relied on him for our taxes and for those of us who ALWAYS enjoyed our visits with him when we went in to see him once a year or when we spoke with him during the year for things that "just came up."
We know that ALL his family, co-workers, and friends will miss him greatly--I know we surely will.
There will be special thoughts of Peter when we get to doing our taxes next year. He will be greatly missed. We so loved our conversations with him and knew we could always rely on him for the best advice.
He (and his family) are in our thoughts and prayers.
I am so sorry that such an engaged and lively presence has departed, and know that Pete will be deeply missed by his family and friends, as well as those who relied upon him for tax services and advice. As you gather to remember Pete, remember his unmistakeable laughter - that makes me smile as I type. On behalf of the Hibbs and Moore families, our condolences on the loss of Louis also.
