Steven, you and I have been friends since our days at JHS 52 in Manhattan, starting in 1956. You and I first got together when we built a working model of an atom for the school science show. When other kids in our class tried to call you "Kublai" or "Ghenkis," you just shrugged it off and stayed calm. Throughout your life, you never let foolish things bother you, because you have a very strong personality. You are an amazing man. I am proud to be your lifelong friend. I hope that we can meet again someday. Your old friend, Herbert Maruska
My condolences. Rely on God through this time for He is not far from you.
I am sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I was an investigator for the medical board and worked with Steve on many cases in the 80s. He was a great attorney and had a good sense of humor. My condolences to his family.
In of the years that I have known you, you have always been kind. I have always admired your ability to always stay calm. You will be truly missed.
