Varaniece, I miss you sooooo much. I know you are resting in peace.
Your Friend, Gloria
It has taken me some time to gather my thoughts and find the strength to write these words.
Varaniece was my best friend, my mentor and my beloved sister.
It is not hard to find the words to express my love for her, and the marvelous relationship we shared for so long.
She was unique in style, wisdom and courage. Not many can measure up to my sister. Her heart out weighed her beauty and style. I miss her sooooo much. Jehovah willing, we will see each other again. Love you Sis forever and ever....
I had the pleasure of working with Varaniece for several years at the CA Department of Social Services in the Food Stamp (now CalFresh) Program. We were fellow managers and dealt with a myriad of problems and issues. No matter how crazy things got, Varaniece was typically cool, calm, and collected. She was a very classy lady who garnered respect from those who came in contact with her. When she got ill, she approached the situation with her usual tough-minded approach to a task at hand. After she retired, when we would meet for lunch on occasion, she was more interested in talking about how I was doing, were things okay in my life, how my daughter was, etc, rather than her own situation. She displayed the epitome of courage and grace, A fantastic person who will be greatly missed!

Niecey, it's hard to believe and imagine the news when I heard it. As believers, we know and believe that anything that happens in our lives is in accordance with God's will for us. We pray and hope that you are now resting by His side.
You'll be missed by all. Rest In Perfect Peace!
even though we may have not had the pleasure of meeting your sister, we know that she was a very loving and giving person based on the kind words you spoke about her. She will truly be missed and was an inspiration to many. Just remember that she is in a better place and her memories will always be cherished. Just know that we are here for you and if you need anything, we are just a phone call away. Your friends/coworkers, Audrey and Valerie.
I did not know Veraniece personally, thru her loving sister Janice I got to know of her. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
May the peace and love a Jesus be with her family at this time of sorrow.
Janice: I am sorry for your loss, she will be in your memory forever.
I got to know and respect Varaniece back in the 90's when I was the Food Stamp Program Specialist for Alameda County. She was always helpful to me and was an inspiration to all who knew her. Over the years, we sporadically kept in touch and I would see her from time to time at various functions. We had many laughs together and I will always remember what a fine lady she was. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this difficult time.
you will be truly missed. When you get to heaven, say hi to your mom and my parents for me. love you cuz.
Dearest Janice. We might not have known your sister personally but we heard beautiful things from you about her based on your close relationship. We know this is a hard time for you and your family. But you are a strong, caring person and God will see you all through this time of sorrow. Just know that we are here for you if you need anything. Your coworkers, Audrey and Valerie.
In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
I cannot believe that this wonderful, loving, giving person has left this earth. I remember hiring her and feeling so blessed to know her. Even after I moved to Washington ten years ago we stayed in contact and our phone conversations went on for hours. I will miss you my friend. You are so special. You are one of the classiest people I have ever known. You never had one negative thing to say even with your illness. Rest in peace my friend.
Varaniece was a special person. I will always remember her as very warm and personable. I felt a special kinship with her. Losses are always difficult; loving and positive memories help to ease the pain even for a little while. I wish the family well.

It has been a long time since we saw each other. I know you are resting comfortably in our Father's arms. You looked beautifl here, but I know you are even more angelic in Heaven. Your nephew looks so much like you all with that same meek spirit. We are praying to see you again! Praying for family, friends, and loved ones- Love, Turon Jr., Sinai, and Patrice.
I had the honor of being a manager in the office next to Varaniece's at CDSS. She was kind, and provided a sense of sisterhood to and for me. She had been there years before me and helped me learn the program and modeled a good manager's work ethic. I am saddened to learn of her passing. My heartfelt condolences and prayers go to her family, fiancée and loved ones. Wishing you peace. I am grateful to have known such a tremendously kind and powerful spirit. May God bless you, all.
To my Hall cousins, may God's everlasting presence give you comfort and all the strength you need. Cherish your loving memories of Niecey, she is now with the angels. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
We love you Niece and will never forget you. May you rest in Peace.
What a tremendous loss. I feel honored to have known and worked with this special woman. My prayers go out to the family.
Sending my condolences and prayers for the family of Varaniece Hall. I worked with Varaniece years ago when she worked for CDSS and she always had a heart of gold.
May memories warm your heart and support you. I had the pleasure of working with and learning from Varaniece at the Department of Social Services. It has been an honor and a pleasure to get know this warm, caring, intelligent, knowledgeable, wise, and beautiful (inside and out) lady. It is the training that she gave me and so many others that propelled us forward in life. I thank God that he loaned her to us for what feels like a short time. God Bless!!
I had the pleasure of working with Varaniece at the Department of Social Services. Varaniece was not only a remarkable manager, but a remarkable and beautiful person, inside & out. My thoughts are with her family and loved ones. Rest peacefully, Varaniece...we have truly lost a treasure.
