I was saddened to hear of Richards passing, it was nice though to reconnect with the family tonight although under such sad circumstances and I will always remember Rich being a good guy and a fierce competitor.
My brother contacted me today to tell me of Richard's passing. I was so saddened but yet smiled to think of all the special moments we shared as kids in high school. Great basketball player, great heart, great person, great friend, and great prom date. We lost touch a few years after high school, but after reading these thoughts posted here, sure shows Rich continued to shine his bright light in people's lives. My thoughts and prayers go out to the extended Fowler Family. Thank you Rich for all you brought to my life - wish I would have had the chance to tell you the indelible impression you left with me.
I love you dearly Richard, my heart breaks at losing you. Thank You for being in my life!
