I will forever love and respect you Dad. It was an honor to share our thoughts and I thank the family from my heart for the opportunity.
All Our Love,
Ken, Jackie, Mark, Robyn, Brian, Scott
When someone's lived such a long and prosperous life it can be hard to pinpoint their driving force, but not with Dad. His life revolved around his family. His love was boundless for his wife, kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, parents and friends. He always put his family first and that's the message he wants us to remember as we live our lives.
When Dad was hospitalized a few weeks ago the message he wanted us to hear was, "I'm happy." That seems counterintuitive but what he wanted us to know and experience with him during his final days is the happiness his family enjoys. Nothing made Dad happier than family gatherings of all sizes and the more kids the better! At yesterday's wake the youngest addition to Dad's family, two year old Bella, was having fun and giggling. She brought happiness to a sad moment and that's exactly what Dad would have wanted.
It's Dad's time to rest and our opportunity to celebrate his life. His family legacy is vast and nothing would make him happier than knowing how much he loved us.
Keep him in your heart.
