ANDREOTTI, Nancy Sue
Entered into life on January 15, 1947, in Salinas, California. Entered into rest September 22, 2013, in Granite Bay California. Nancy attended high school in Salinas, California, and attended both Hartnell College and Sacramento State University. Her studies focused on education, and she received her teaching credential. Nancy spent 32 years teaching Physical Education at both Folsom Middle School and Cordova High School; coaching both cross country and track & field. Nancy was loved by her daughters, Michelle and Susanne, and her husband, David. She was an avid equestrian, who enjoyed gardening, animals, good food, the outdoors, and traveling.
A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, 09/29/2013, from 2:00PM-4:00PM, at the Source Tapas Restaurant, 5540 Douglas Blvd., Granite Bay, CA 95746. All are welcome to attend. To leave a message or memory for the family, please visit

Just heard this very sad news. Nancy was a special friend. We shared some very funny times as 'Horse Show Moms". She always stepped up when asked, and volunteered endlessly. I admired her, respected her and was glad to call her a friend. Kelley and I will remember her always.

May the blessings and prayers comfort you at this time. Coach Nancy was welled loved by those who she touch with kindness and a helping hand. Dave and Nancy introduced me to running as a teenager. Grateful for the experience to work with them.

Dear Dave and Family
I am so sorry I cannot attend the service. Nancy and I were playmates when I was 5 and she was 4. I have never forgotten her in all these years. I knew she was special even as a small child. I had always hoped, by some miracle, I would see her again. I am glad to know she found a loving husband and had a great life, she deserved it. David, I share in your loss, I hope the support and love of your family will aid you in healing.

Andreotti Family and Coach (David),

We are so very sorry for your loss.

Mrs Coach, (as we called Nancy then) provided great balance to Coach Andreotti's intensity. Joining their cross-country team included learning many lessons from them. The primary one being that with enough hard work comes success. We are thankful.

I imagine her in that VW bug she drove so long ago, looking back to remind us she'll be just around the bend and looking forward to being reunited soon.

May the circle be unbroken.

Dave, Michelle and Susanne: Though I didn't have the opportunity to spend a great deal of time w/Nancy through the years, I remember her vividly as such an exceptional lady. She truly is one who will live on in the memories of so many folks. I chuckle now as I remember her so graciously stepping in to rescue me from the difficult task of preparing the Oscar Awards Party dinners w/Dar and Larry. She seemed to know what to do w/o words. Through my memories and all the stories passed on via Darlene - could there have been a more loving and caring mother and wife...my thoughts are w/you at this so difficult time. I remember taking Ms. Andreotti's class numerous times when I was at Cordova. I remember when she was 7 months pregnant and still running with us... she was an incredible person. When I became a Field Hockey coach, she provided me with great insight and wisdom. She will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to the family. Rest in peace Ms. A.....

Mrs. Andreotti was a teacher at Cordova while I was there. Although I never had her as a teacher or coach, she was always so friendly to me when I was in the coaches office. She always cared about all the student/athletes. What a great lady! I'm so sorry for your loss. She is one of only a handful of teachers I remember and it's because of her wonderful spirit -- a bright, caring smile and such enthusiasm!
