What a beautiful smile Rhoda has that matches her beautiful heart. It is a pleasure for Louis and I to be part of this wonderful extended family that has accepted our daughter Darla as one of their own and Rhoda loved her dearly. Rest in peace sweet lady. Dick, if we can help in any way, just call.

I will miss most the wonderful times we had just talking about anything and everything and mostly laughing 'til we nearly cried! And, oh, that laugh of Rhodes' was so infectious!! She was a joy to be around always and we loved her dearly.

I first meet Rhoda playing Bunco. She was always early at that time she couldn't remember if she was suppose to be there at 6 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. we would always laugh about that. If she was driving down the street she would always stop and talk to you. Rhoda you will be missed Keep smiling

My first vivid memory of Aunt Rhoda was back in the East Bay house. It was probably 1971 and our family was visiting for dinner. Donny was playing some "new" vinyl LPs for us. I have no idea if the memory is accurate, but I picture Donny having ABC by the Jackson 5, and One Bad Apple by The Osmonds. Why do I remember that?

And then Aunt Rhoda came into the room. She had a huge smile, big red hair and wide open arms. She hugged me and my brothers, Matt and Mike. She fussed over us as she always did. In that distinctive voice of hers that I love so much, she asked if we wanted anything to eat or drink while waiting for dinner.

It is such a simple memory, but a strong one. I have no recollection of the event or anything else from that day, but Aunt Rhoda coming into the room is a memory that has stuck in my brain for over 40 years.

I love you Aunt Rhoda!

My sister Mary shares my feelings exactly. Rhoda was a beautiful lady and now a beautiful angel. As per God's promises, we shall all be united once again in His house. Until then, God bless her soul and family. With our love, Josie and Jack

Dear Dick and Family,
These photos are priceless - Beautiful Rhoda will always be in my heart.
We shared some very special times, which I will always treasure. I will
always remember her smiling, laughing and just being so much fun to
be around. She loved her husband and family, and now she has "gone
home". God bless her and her family. Your cousin, Mary Winstead
