HERRERA, Steve 'Big Bro'
Age 61. Our rock was born on September 1st 1951 in Stockton, CA. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family & friends on December 2nd 2012. He made the most out of the 2nd chance that he was given and we are thankful to have had another wonderful 18 years after his liver transplant. He loved the outdoors, gardening, having BBQ's with the kids, going to Thunder Valley, his TV, he loved hearing the newest gossip and above all loved Bucks Lake! He will forever be missed! Preceded in death by, his parents, Reuben & Joyce and his brother, Michael. Survived by his wife Angela Herrera; his children, Michael O'Neil, Melissa Jonas, Eric Freytag, Candace Herrera, Josiah Herrera and Elaina Herrera as well as his six grandchildren. His sisters and brother Linda Thale, Michelle Herrera and Larry Herrera.
The memorial service is going to be held on Thursday, December 6th 2012 at 10 am at Sunset Lawn, 4701 Marysville Blvd. Reception to follow after memorial 12pm at the American Legion, 6700 8th Street, Rio Linda. Please sign the guestbook at sunsetlawn.chapelofthechimes.com

Steve, you would of been so proud of the beautiful service the kids held (but then again, your were there in spirit). I will keep in touch with Angie and see how she is doing. I (we) will also attend Mike's races. I was so happy to hear that you accecpted the Lord.
