My condolences toTom, Doug and there families. I was coached by Mr Fowler as a youngster and played with Doug one year. He is a huge reason that i have been a coach in L.L. for 15 yrs now. I wasn't going to play my last yr in the majors and Bill showed up one evening and showed he cared about me. Well, i played because of him. He was a very nice man. God bless you guys!

I was so sorry to read in the paper today that Bill passed away. Also sorry about your mom, Madeline.
I don't think I ever met your mom but I knew your dad from when he worked at Phil Bruce's law office after retiring from the County of Sacramento. He was a wonderful man and I always enjoyed working for/with him at the law office.
It's strange, but I was just thinking about him this past week and wondering where he was and what he was doing. Might have been a premonition that something was wrong--not sure.
Know you both--and all your extended family--will miss these two people. May God give you all the strength to deal with your loss.
