Our Grandpa Joe Karam always looked forward to and relished Art's visits back to Houghton and later to Marquette at the Jacobetti Home for Veterans. I will always remember Art and Marion inviting me to their home for a home-cooked meal when I was a young professional traveling away from home for work. Art made everyone feel cared for. Our thoughts are with you.

Thank you John for calling me. Your Dad was like a big brother to me. He taught me a lot about fishing for Salmon and Lake Trout. Doris and I met a lot of wonderful people during our friendship with your parents. God blessed us in our friendship with your Mother and Dad. Max Zittel

So sorry to hear about your loss. I remember my Mom (Sis Kirkish Walter) telling stories about when they would all get together as they were growing up. And of course if it wasn't for Art, we wouldn't have started our own tradition of stopping at the "Dairy" in Jackson, MI for ice cream, lol. He was a wonderful man, God bless him!

Sorry to hear that Art had died. He came to both my parents funerals, and I know my parents thought a lot of him even though we didn't see him often. I had heard that Robert lived in Hickory Corners near me, and we will have to get together some day.

We were very sorry to hear about Art's passing. Mom (Babe Williams) informed us of your loss. I am sure my Dad and your Dad are talking about the "good old days" at Tech.
