What a beautiful tribute. All we can really hope for is to make a difference in this world, and enjoy a zest for life. Clearly, he accomplished both. May he rest in peace, and may those he leaves behind live in peace. I am truly grateful for his service. xoxoxo

I'm very sorry to hear about your Dad. he was truly gifted and an amazing personality. I remember him so well. I had not seen him for many years, but I do have a video clip of him from the 1950's with my father and uncle Les on a "fly-in" fishing trip to Canada - they all looked great and really knew how to have fun !!
My condolences to the entire family.

Mr. Van was such a sweet, loving man. I have wonderful memories of him when I was younger, he always had a certain way about him that made the people around him feel so special. That's a rare trait you don't find in many people. My love and sympathy to Mrs. Van, Aunt Diane, Randy and Jan.
Diane, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. How clearly I remember your father taking REAL movie pictures at your birthday parties. Not owning a car in my family, he also gave me rides home many times. I pray for comfort for your mother and siblings.
Thoughts and prayers to the Van family!
