My name is Tim Miller. I grew up with her brother bob and I knew her as a young girl. I remember what a kind person she was. I am very sorry for your loss.
Janie and I met in kindergarten at Hoyt Elementary. When we were in the 8th grade, my family moved to Bridgeport and, regrettably, we didn't keep in touch. However, we had many great adventures before that. Janie was a talented musician already. I remember accompanying her to violin lessons and band practice. Often, I would stop at the house on Howard to walk the rest of the way to school together. We were in the same Brownie troupe, ice-skated on the homemade rink in her backyard, and listened to Raymond's Everly Brothers records when he wasn't home. I have, over the years, thought of her often. She was a joy to me and I am sorry for the loss to her family and friends everywhere. It was a privilege to have known her.
Dear Family members, It was my privilege to sing with Jane and her brother in the Accapela Choir at Saginaw High School. She was a gifted musician and a great person. I have many cherished memories of the years we sang in that choir, and was glad to hear of her musical accomplishments in her adult life. Obviously she was much more than a musician and her life and spirit will be greatly missed. I pray that you will be comforted by God's grace and the many cherished memories you treasure in your hearts.
I met Janie in the 'Stars of Tomorrow' band in Saginaw during High School days. She was a very talented and beautiful young lady. She will be playing music forever.
You were a wonderful person not to be forgotten. Knowing you since the sixth grade was my privilege. In having been touched by your life as so many have, my condolences go out to your family and friends. Heaven has gained a gem.
Bob and family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My heart goes out to you.
Sorry to hear about Jane. She was a very nice young lady when I knew
her in school. Rest in peace my friend
Jane was indeed one of the nicest people I ever met at SHS. She wasn't very tall but she accomplished big things in her life - just as I expected she would. Rest in peace Jane, you were an inspiration to all and a sweetheart.
