I first saw Jerry's extraordinary talents in the 3d grade at Hoyt Elementary School. He was always first in the class in math and drawing. We drifted apart later, but I still recall what a remarkable and kind person he was. One of a kind, really. My profound condolences to his family.
Roethlisberger Families, we are so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. He was really a good guy who was a lot of fun to be around. Our love, prayers and thoughts are with the families of Jerry and Jeff, Karen and Jean. We are all better for having known Jerry.
I worked for Jerry at the SSG plant in southern Spain for three years in the early 1980's. Jerry was great to work with and great to work for. He was well liked and respected by the Americans and the Spanish workers. I learned a lot from Jerry and appreciate his help and guidance; I also had the good fortune to work for Jerry a few times after we returned to Saginaw. Jerry and Midge were friends of Janis and me, we enjoyed social meetings with them while in Spain and at our Spanish Reunions when we were back home to Michigan. We both have fond memories of Jerry and Midge.
Jerry was a most gracious and giving person. He voluntarily served as a worker in our Thursday Bingo Game at the Moose 82.He was a great friend and much appreciated. Anna Shepard
I never worked directly with Jerry at SSG but knew that everyone who came in contact with him, liked and respected him. He will be missed.
So sorry to hear about Jerry. He was a great guy! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Jerry. I am so sorry for your loss. ~ Laura Stanulis Johnson

We are so sorry to hear about Jerry and his lengthy illness. We knew Jerry and Midge for a lot of years not only as a classmate but as parents attending Bridgeport HS sporting events. We will miss them both at our class reunions. Our sympathy to his family. Pat and Jerry Hamling
Jerry was my first boss when I started at Saginaw Steering Gear in 1965. He was great and easy to work for. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
My sympathy goes out to the Jerry R. family. It was a great pleasurer to work with Jerry at SSG and I also have great memories of playing ball with Jerry on the SSG league. A very fine gentleman and mentor. Again, my sympathy to the family for your loss but cherrish the memories.

My sympathy to the family of Jerry! He was a great guy. Worked with him at SSG and was on the SSG Retire Board with him and he was always willing to work on any activity for the club and retirees.
Carla and family, I'm so sorry. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Jerry, Carla and family, our deepest sympathy. Know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Peace and hugs.
I had the great pleasure of working both with and for Jerry over the years at Saginaw Steering Gear. He had a profound impact on me as I always watched how he handled himself using him as a mentor. Three things were perfectly clear about Jerry; First, he was a fine engineer, second he always acted with integrity and third he was loyal to SSG, his associates and everyone he came in contact with. We are all better off having Jerry touch our lives and will miss him.
