What can I say that hasn't said. Ray was the greatest friend to me and my family. He helped me grow up and handle a very different world (US Navy). I feel for you and my prayers are with you all. Now back to the popcorn machine that Ray introduced me to at AHHS games. RIP Ray and may you have "Fair winds and Following Seas". Your neighbor. Marty Bluhm CTRC USN(RET),

Judy, Patti, Mrs. Harman, and all: To me, Mr. Hartman was the jokster you mention in his lovely obituary. I often wasn't sure how to take something he said, and then he'd give that wry smile and I knew I'd been had again. He was obviously a loving, giving man in the way he cared for and raised his family. You have our deepest sympathy. Love, Brian and Sharon Wisniewski

Ray and I retired from the C.O.C. the same year and I always considered him a classmate. A true educator.

Mr Hartman taught me in coop from 73-75. I learned so much from him that when I was testing to become a Federal Agent, they actually asked if I was ever a salesman. I think it helped me in getting hired on the job. Thanks for everything Mr. Hartman, you still live on through your students Peace and god's blessing to the family Kevin Sedlak Galloway New Jersey
