Susan Guymer

I was saddened when I heard of Susan's death when I went to the pet store tonight. I only knew her from the store. She was such a nice person who always had a smile on her face. I always looked forward to seeing her smiling face! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!

Dear, Dear, Sue.
I was so shocked and saddened when I read of your passing. I truly admired you for your love and compassion for all the little animals. I'm praying for someone to take up your mantle, it's going to be very, very difficult.
To her family, know, she was loved and admired by so many.

Susan was the kindest, most compassionate and loving person I have ever known. The love she showed her son, Mark, her family and the hundreds of animals she rescued made her one of a kind. She had such passion for life and always a warm smile that was contagious. My thoughts and prayers go out to the wonderful family she leaves behind. Like many others, I will miss her terribly, but I take peace knowing that heaven is a brighter place with her there.

We are so heavy hearted to hear of Susans passing!!!! She was a devoted animal rights activist, awesome mother and friend to any and all. RIP dear Susan.We will miss you forever more!!

I loved this woman and was disappointed every time I went into the pet store and she was not working. She was a true patron saint to cats. Always seemed to remember her customers by name. When I read that she had died I felt like a light went out of the world. I knew she had M.S. but no idea she was battling cancer too. Just look at all these comments. I hope she knows how people felt about her.

I am the one that has her Macaw, Chico. Susan was a wonderful person. Words can't describe how much I miss her. She was such a vibrant and positive person. She was so happy that she found Chico a good and loving home. A few months ago I brought Chico in the store to visit her. She really enjoyed spending time with him. I was so happy that I made her day special. My boyfriend and I considered Susan part of our family and we were part of her family. Susan was truly one of the greatest people that I have ever known. She was so thoughtful and kindhearted. Susan always put other people first before herself. She didn't have a mean bone in her body. It will not be the same going into the pet store now and not seeing her positive, wonderful spirit. I am going to miss Susan so much. She was one of God's special people. Rest in Peace.

My deepest sympathies go to Gary and the entire family.

Susan left a great impression on me, how she cared for the animals - all the animals - "her" animals. One day she was in her store and was giving all the critters fresh fruits/veggies... she did it out of her own kindness. She wanted to make sure that they had a well-rounded diet, and weren't eating pellets their entire lives. I hope if anyone at Pet Supplies reads this, they will continue to take care of the animals with the same level of care Susan did. Including fresh fruits/veggies in the animals' diets as needed - it was something that was very important to her, and was a small kindness she did because she felt it was right. :)

Susan, I know that you are in good hands - God has been holding a special place for you in heaven for taking care of all his creatures for so long. God bless!

Gary, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your wonderful wife. She was just special.

I have a feeling you are sending strays my way... you're a little stinker ! if you are, you need to help with the fear that is happening, or the transition may never happen.

You was a wonderful, loving lady. I knew you through my son Josh who worked with you at Pet Supplies Plus. My son loved you as a friend and he loved working with you. You loved animals. You will be so missed, as you touched all with your loving smile and kindness. Your family and many friends are in my thoughts and my prayers. You will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace, until we meet again....<3
